shellylikeschicken asked: you are like eighty percent lucille bluth.
I found a new place.
In Kensington, with a musician (living room = studio), paying $750.
A bit of a walk to the B/Q or F/G (10 minutes or so to either) but it gives me options and makes it a commitment to go somewhere I wouldn’t need to go.
Signing the lease in the next day or two. Moving probably next Saturday. Which happens to be what would have been Alex and I’s 2 year anniversary.
I need to get...

subterraneans answered your question: Question:
do you love biophilia that much
The thing is, I don’t know. But I do know that I haven’t seen her live before and that she’s playing in a museum that’s been like, customized for her. So that’s why I’m considering it.

Question:
Is $159 too much to spend for a ticket to see Björk in a museum?

But their shop is set up HORRIBLY so it didn’t even give me a place to put in a different billing address from my shipping address, so I completed the order with just the one address, so of course it wasn’t going to process but I sent them an email and was like “how do I do this” and they didn’t respond and I sent it again and they still didn’t respond.

I hope somebody notices.
Question for you guys.
Our landlady is complaining that we keep the windows open, because wahhh wahhhh she pays for the heat and whatever.
But even with the radiator in our room turned off, if the window is closed, it gets up to 80 degrees or so because of the heat in the rest of the building. And without fresh air, I want to kill myself in here.
Does she have any right to complain about this? I feel like since...

no NOT LIKE THIS I always pictured you dying in my arms
you have 24 hours.
I don't want to worry my dear followers HOWEVER
The last time I felt this sick I literally almost died because of a staph infection in my blood that was causing one of my heart valves to act erratically!
So, in summary, I don’t want to worry you, but GOODBYE!

Um so I associate weird songs with New Years. Here’s a banjo cover of Sondheim.
Kind of depressing New Years post.
Ignore at will.
This New Years is almost all about saying goodbye, but also hello. I’m saying goodbye to a two-year relationship. And to a lot of measures of stability I’ve had. And to my family (both blood and not).
It’s about saying hello to a new job. And saying hello to music, again. And to my new family of musicians in Brooklyn. And to thousands of branching roads. All...

Dear strangers who compliment my colorful pants,
Don’t just say “cool pants” and walk by me. It’s weird and makes you seem like a sociopath. Or a sarcastic asshole.

It is 11pm on Christmas eve and I am only now starting to listen to Christmas music.
And by that I mean Sufjan.
